IPAA Victoria’s Leadership in the Public Sector Awards honour the excellence and innovation of teams and organisations of all three levels of government in Victoria – Commonwealth, State and Local.

Join the judging panel
The IPAA Victoria Awards Advisory Committee is seeking expressions of interest from experts in their respective fields to assess the award nominations. Judging panel members will be expected to review, assess, and provide objective, independent recommendations to the IPAA Victoria Awards Committee and ensure that the guidelines and assessment criteria endorsed by the Committee have been applied consistently and equitably for all applications.
IPAA Victoria recognises the importance of judging panels that are representative of the diversity within the public purpose sector and seeks representation across Federal Government, Local Government, State Government, statutory agencies, regional bodies, the educational and not-for-profit sectors, as well as a diversity of panel members across age, gender, ethnicity and ability.

Award Eligibility
- Nominations can be submitted by any employee delivering government services in Victoria including all Local, State, Commonwealth organisations.
- Nominations can include projects, policies, partnerships, reforms, regulations, strategies, campaigns, programs, continuous improvement initiatives, etc.
- Nominations may be made for new, short-term, or long-term initiatives/responses as long as the criteria are addressed.
- IPAA Victoria recognises many initiatives are the result of collaborations and partnerships. Where appropriate, IPAA Victoria encourages collaborators and partners to submit a shared nomination, provided other conditions of entry are met.
- There is no limit to the number of nominations from an organisation. However a specific initiative may only be nominated once, in one category, in any given year. Unsuccessful nominations may be resubmitted in subsequent years.
