Registration portal terms of use

The following sets out the terms and conditions concerning use of the IPAA Victoria registration portal. It sets out rights and responsibilities as well as relevant legal information.

Introduction

The registration portal is one of the many ways we support our members and wider Victorian public purpose sector to connect, learn and grow.

The registration portal can be used to:

  • update and manage profile and preferences
  • access and register for learning and development
  • view and redeem professional development vouchers and gift card (will admin view permissions)
  • register to attend IPAA Victoria events.

By registering to use the registration portal, you acknowledge and agree to the registration portal terms and conditions.

Registration portal account

All users (IPAA Victoria members and non-members) are required to register an account to access and use the registration portal. When registering, all users must agree to the registration portal terms and conditions stipulated in this document, and registration constitutes agreement to abide by them.

Password requirement

IPAA Victoria members must create a password to access the registration portal.

Password security

You must keep your password confidential at all times. You must not:

  • allow anyone to watch you enter your password when accessing the registration portal
  • record your password in any manner that would indicate to anyone that it is the user’s password. You must inform IPAA Victoria as soon as possible if you become aware of misuse of your password or loss or theft of a record of the password, or if you suspect that the password has become known to anyone.

If you delay unreasonably in notifying IPAA Victoria, you will be liable for any losses incurred.

Copyright

All copyright for material published on the site is retained and/or has copyright clearance by IPAA Victoria. Internally generated content is the property of IPAA Victoria and is subject to copyright under Australian law. Use of registration portal contents for any purpose other than personal interest, membership services and education is subject to approval by IPAA Victoria.

Privacy

IPAA Victoria’s full privacy policy is accessible here.

Users must advise IPAA Victoria by email membership@vic.ipaa.org.au if they do not want your username and email address to be available in your member profile. Users are in control of their own profile as well as their personal information displayed.

Applicable law

The terms of use for IPAA Victoria’s registration portal shall be governed by and construed according to the laws in force in Victoria.

If any term, condition, or provision of these terms or conditions is determined to be unlawful, invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms, conditions and provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired.
