The IPAA Victoria Board is pleased to welcome Amanda Stevens as IPAA Victoria’s Chief Executive Officer.
The Board undertook an extensive recruitment search with a Board Sub-Committee and engaged Davidson Recruitment to lead the search.
The Board appointed Amanda Stevens as IPAA Victoria’s CEO in December and she has commenced her role this week. With over 20 years’ experience in the public purpose sector and a corporate governance lawyer by training, Amanda has held several executive and non-executive leadership roles in federal, state and local government. These roles include the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, Victorian Building Authority, Department of Health Covid Response and three consecutive years as the Mayor of the City of Port Phillip. Amanda is also an experienced board chair and director serving on numerous not for profit and community boards including Chair of the South Melbourne Market and a board member of the Australian National Academy of Music.
As CEO of IPAA Victoria, Amanda looks forward to being a steward and advocate for the public purpose sector and strives to champion its needs through IPAA Victoria’s diverse program of professional development, networking, thought leadership and event opportunities.
In 2024, IPAA Victoria will continue to focus on delivering its Strategic Themes of Connection through collaboration, new skills and celebration, Trust, integrity and dialogue, and Treaty, truth and voice.
