Nominate outstanding individuals who demonstrate distinguished service to the Victorian public sector for IPAA Victoria’s Fellowship
IPAA Victoria is delighted to announce nominations are now open for the Victorian Fellowship and individuals are encouraged to put forward peers and colleagues who have demonstrated exemplary service and outstanding commitment to the local, Victorian, national and/or international public sector.
As the most prestigious award bestowed by IPAA Victoria to professionals in the public sector, Victorian Fellows comprise a distinguished cohort of individuals who are champions of the public purpose sector and are committed to the realisation of public value in the work they do.
IPAA Victoria’s Fellowship is awarded to individuals that meet the following criteria:
- Criterion 1: Demonstrated service and ongoing commitment toward communities
- Criterion 2: Significant contribution to the creation and ongoing realisation of public value
- Criterion 3: Acts with integrity with all colleagues and peers, and upholds high ethical standards, reflecting the values that IPAA Victoria embraces.
This year, we aim to recognise high-performing and successful leaders who have gone above and beyond their roles. Individuals are eligible for nomination if they work from all levels of government (Commonwealth, state and local); or who work in the community, academic or private sectors with a public purpose; or who are engaged in full-time or part-time study or research relating to public administration or the public sector.
Our Victorian Fellows hold special wisdom, lived experience and practical insights that can be imparted to the broader public purpose sector.
I invite professionals in the sector to look at the criteria and consider if you have a colleague that meets the criteria to a high degree.
Nina Cullen, CEO, IPAA Victoria
Nominations can be made by a Victorian Fellow, an IPAA Victoria Personal member, or an employee of an Organisation Member. Individuals cannot nominate themselves. Nominations will close on Sunday 24 September 2023 at 11:59 pm (AEST).
Each year, the IPAA Victoria Board awards Victorian Fellowship to up to 6 individuals. Nominees are assessed by an independent committee against the nomination criteria and the calibre of all nominations received. Due to the competitive nature of this awards program and the number of nominations received, not all nominees may be successful in any given year. IPAA Victoria will formally announce this year’s Victorian Fellows in November 2023.
