I can’t wait to present at IPAA Victoria’s International Women’s Day Gala Dinner. The theme this year is: ‘Count her in- accelerating gender equality through economic empowerment’. Economic empowerment isn’t just an abstract concept. It gives women choice, dignity, and opportunity – from making it easier to leave a bad domestic situation to providing the opportunity to convert a great idea into a new business. It’s something all Australian women expect and deserve. I’ll join the team at IPAA to talk about the progress we’ve made so far, and what comes next. Hope to see you there.

As we celebrate the incredible achievements, resilience, and strength of women all around the globe. Let’s honor the everyday heroes who inspire us with their courage and compassion, the activists who continue to fight for equality, and the trailblazers who have shattered glass ceilings. May we strive for a world where every woman and girl is empowered, valued, and respected. Together, let’s create a future where gender equality is not just a dream, but a reality for women from all backgrounds and walks of life.

I am truly honoured to join the lineup of inspiring speakers, including the remarkable Danielle Wood and Manasi Wagh, at the upcoming IPAA Victoria IWD Gala Dinner!
The International Women’s Day Gala promises to be a night of empowerment, enlightenment, and celebration of the strides we’ve made and those yet to come in championing gender equity.
I’m thrilled to share insights on the inclusion of women in the STEM sector and the broader Australian community. Let’s engage in a conversation about ways we can accelerate progress in leadership, fostering an environment of diversity, and empowerment.
Looking forward to connecting with fellow advocates, change-makers, and everyone passionate about making a positive impact.

How does a unique leadership program build confident, collaborative executive teams able to meet challenges through legacy-minded collective leadership?
The Insight program is for women at the executive level in the water sector.
With a focus on personalised self-development and learning from others, the program is truly transformative. It highlights what women can achieve together, because it is anchored in the way women want to work rather than the paradigm they can find themselves working in.

IPAA Victoria’s International Women’s Day Gala Dinner (IWD) is one of the major events in the public purpose sector calendar. This sell-out event reaches a wide cross-section of leaders and professionals in the public purpose sector and is a wonderful opportunity to rejoice, support, network and inspire women who are trailblazers and agents of change redefining the parameters of public purpose leadership.
This year’s theme ‘EmpowerHER: Accelerating change in gender equality’ is a celebration of women and aims to shine a spotlight on exceptional women leaders who champion equitable pathways. Our eminent speakers are leaders and innovators in their respective fields who will explore the role of economic empowerment in a gender-equal world, contemplate the progress that has been made thus far and consider the road ahead to ensure gender equality in the workplace and beyond.
IPAA Victoria’s theme is inspired by the UN Women IWD theme: Count Her In: Accelerating gender equality through economic empowerment, and the IWD 2024 campaign theme, #InspireInclusion.
We would love to hear your feedback on your experience at the IWD Gala Dinner.
