Top 50 Public Sector Women Awards Ceremony: Registrations now open

Join IPAA Victoria at the Top 50 Public Sector Women awards ceremony to recognise and honour Victoria’s exemplary women leaders in the public sector.  

Registrations are now open for IPAA Victoria’sTop 50 Public Sector Women Awards ceremonyon Thursday 18 April 2024.  

Since its inception in 2017, IPAA Victoria’s Top 50 Public Sector Women awards program has acknowledged and celebrated the women leaders at all levels of government – Commonwealth, State and Local – who lead high-performing teams, groundbreaking policy and uphold values of integrity, diversity and inclusion, and transformation.  

This year’s ceremony will reveal the fifty women winners who comprise senior executives and leaders across many areas of the public sector through two categories Established Leader and Emerging Leader. The cohort of women leaders has been selected through a rigorous judging and due diligence process.  

This year’s Top 50 Public Sector awards ceremony is a wonderful opportunity for colleagues and peers to celebrate great women leaders in our sector and the tireless contributions they make for the Victorian community and their support of other women in the sector.

‘What I am most looking forward to is introducing this cohort of exceptional women and learning more about their stories of achievement and leadership. I really encourage our members to come and learn and celebrate with us,’ added Ms Stevens.  

The Top 50 Public Sector Women awards recognise individual excellence and achievement of exceptional women leaders and their significant work, provide a platform of support and encouragement to other women working in the sector, and identify and celebrate women leaders and role models for staff.  

The Established Leader category refers to senior leaders in the public sector in Victoria, including experienced Directors, Executive Directors, General Managers and CEOs. The Emerging Leader category refers to leaders in the early to mid-stage of their leadership career, including Team Leaders, Managers, or emerging Directors.  

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony.
