IPAA Victoria was thrilled to announce our 2024 Victorian Fellows and National Fellow at its Fellows Awards and End of Year Celebration, following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 26 November 2024.
The evening featured a keynote talk from John Bradley, Secretary Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action. John spoke to the wicked challenges of our time, and how transformation and nurturing the sector are essential.
While today’s dynamic and diverse public sector offers excitement and opportunity, it also demands resilience to meet changing community needs. Modern government is not for the faint-hearted, as the pace of change can often feel relentless. To navigate these new horizons, we must balance innovation with security, ensuring our teams deliver on expectations while fostering growth and adaptability.
The evening provided a wonderful opportunity to thank our departing board members, President, John Bradley, Treasurer and Chair, Audit Finance and Risk Committee, Dean Yates, and Chair, Aboriginal Advisory Committee, Angela Singh, for their dedication and contributions to IPAA Victoria, while warmly welcoming our new board members, Tom Bell, Ella McPherson, and Nicola Quin.
This event was not only a celebration but also an inspiring opportunity to hear from our newest Fellows, who have made remarkable contributions to public administration and the public purpose sector. These Fellows embody IPAA Victoria’s values, positively influencing their colleagues, peers, and the broader community.
Congratulations our 2024 Victorian Fellows.
