Mr Martine leads the Department providing economic, policy and service delivery advice to the Victorian Government.

He previously worked as a senior executive in the Commonwealth public sector providing strategic advice to governments on a range of complex economic and other policy issues. He has extensive budget, finance, policy and organisational leadership experience, and has contributed to wide ranging strategic policy reform. Mr Martine holds an honours degree in economics from Monash University, and completed his Master of Business Administration in 2005.

Mr Martine was awarded the Public Service Medal (PSM) – Victoria in the Australia Day Honours 2019. This award recognises outstanding public service to social, microeconomic and public sector reform and innovation in Victoria.

Danielle is the CEO of Grattan Institute and also leads Grattan’s Budgets and Government Program. She has published extensively on economic reform priorities, budgets, tax reform, generational inequality, and reforming political institutions.

Danielle previously worked at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, NERA Economic Consulting, and the Productivity Commission. She holds an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Adelaide and two Masters degrees, one in Economics and one in Competition Law, from the University of Melbourne.

Danielle is the President of the Economic Society of Australia and was the co-founder and first Chair of the Women in Economics Network.

She is a member of the Parliamentary Budget Office Expert Advisory Committee, the Commonwealth Bank CEO Advisory Council, and the PWC Future of Work Committee.

Sandy is currently Deputy Secretary, Social Service Workforce Reform, Department of the Premier and Cabinet having stood aside as Secretary, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, to undertake this critical work.

Sandy has worked in many and varied roles in her long career within Australian and UK public service agencies. She has been awarded the Telstra businesswoman of the year award at the state and federal levels. Sandy steered the creation of the new Victorian department of Families, Fairness and Housing mid-pandemic, following her stint leading the Victorian government COVID contact tracing response with Prof Euan Wallace.

Sandy was Deputy Secretary, Higher Education and Skills, DET from 2019 until the COVID response called. Her first Secretary position was in South Australia, where she was the Chief Executive of the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources, particularly focused on responding to climate change.

Dean helps Governments and public-sector clients achieve policy outcomes in a financially responsible way. He is an Assurance Partner in the Financial Accounting and Advisory Services team in the Melbourne Office. He also leads EY’s Victorian Government Account.

Dean brought 30 years of Public Sector experience to EY. He specialises in Public Sector financial management, budget development and implementation, resource allocations, business cases and organisational reviews.

He is Finance Director for the Board of the Victorian branch of the Institute of Public Administration Australia, the industry group for public servants in Victoria. He holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Melbourne Business School, a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honors from the University of Tasmania and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
