Balancing the scales: every story matters.

IPAA Victoria’s International Women’s Day Gala (IWD) is one of the major events in the public purpose sector calendar. This sell-out event reaches a wide cross-section of leaders and professionals in the public purpose sector and is a wonderful opportunity to rejoice, support, network and inspire women who are trailblazers and agents of change redefining the parameters of public purpose leadership.
This year’s theme, ‘Balancing the scales: every story matters’, is inspired by the UN Women Australia theme, ‘Balancing the scales’, shining a spotlight on the urgent need to create fair, inclusive, and accessible justice systems for all women and girls. This is a call to recognise and elevate the stories that drive progress, inspire change, and build a more equitable public service.
