
IPAA Victoria’s Supporting Neurodiversity in the Public Sector course aims to create awareness and provide actionable steps to create inclusive and supportive work environments for neurodiverse individuals in the public sector workplace.
Course overview
Participants will learn strategies for effectively managing and supporting neurodivergent team members as well as developing awareness for individuals silently dealing with their neurodiverse diagnoses. The course emphasises the importance of awareness, empathy and taking action to drive positive change in team dynamics.
The course is designed to:

- develop effective strategies for managing neurodivergent team members
- empower participants to take action and create change in their team dynamics
- create inclusive team structures and processes that empower neurodiverse individuals

Course outcomes
Participants will gain a comprehensive knowledge of neurodiversity in the public sector and how to support neurodivergent employees by:
- understanding the concept of neurodiversity and its relevance in the Public Sector
- recognising the strengths and unique abilities of neurodivergent individuals in the workplace
- learning how to empower and support neurodivergent employees
