IPAA Victoria’s annual International Women’s Day Gala Dinner is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate, support, network and inspire women across the public purpose sector.
IPAA Victoria International Women’s Day Gala Dinner is one of IPAA Victoria’s flagship events. This sell-out event reaches a wide diversity and cross-section of the public purpose sector and is a wonderful opportunity to rejoice, support, network and inspire women across the public purpose sector.
For over a decade IPAA Victoria has hosted this signature event, in recent years attended by over 1200 women and men, believing it to be absolutely central to our desire to see a truly inclusive and diverse public purpose sector, and to celebrate women. Previous speakers have offered the unvarnished truth of the social, political and economic challenges that continue to impact women, and have fiercely argued for the necessity of yet greater change to the status quo, so that such challenges might ultimately be relegated to history.
This year, given we have been devastated by the unprecedented continuing bushfires and their impact, we have decided to frame our International Women’s Day Dinner as a celebration of women leadership in emergency management. We are excited to announce three leaders who have, like others, demonstrated exceptional leadership in the bushfire response, relief and recovery efforts.
