First Nations Gathering

The First Nations Gathering event is designed by First Nations people, for First Nations people working In Victoria’s public sector. 

Overview

A series of guest speakers will share their personal experiences of working in the sector and discussions will reflect on Truth and Treaty, resilience, the complexity of walking in two worlds, how to make a professional development plan that works for you – and more. 
 
This event is an opportunity for First Nations staff from all levels of the VPS, across different roles and departments, to gather and connect in a culturally safe space. 
 
The event program will be released in July.
