Young IPAA’s (YIPAAs)
The Young Professionals Network is an inclusive network of young professionals who work in or with the public sector under the age of 36. The Young Professionals Network provides opportunities to connect, learn and grow in a supportive environment. The activities of the Young Professionals Networks links to IPAA Victoria’s strategic direction, and provides a voice and visibility for young professionals within the IPAA Victoria community and broader public sector. We aim to organise at least four (4) events per year for Young Professionals.
Connect: to build valuable networks and relationships between young public sector professionals and the broader public sector.
Learn: to provide opportunities for professional development, building capability and innovation.
Grow: to grow as individuals gaining experience and insights, and to grow as an inclusive network.
To join the Young Professionals Network you must be under 36 years of age and be a member of IPAA Victoria.

The YIPAA Advisory Committee consists of YIPAA members. They represent a diversity in roles across the public and private sectors, including local government. The Advisory Committee meets a minimum of four times per year, and is an integral part of the YIPAA program, providing direction and insight into how the program should be run.
All Personal YIPAA Members and Corporate YIPAA affiliates are eligible to nominate for the Committee through an application process to ensure diversity, range of skills and experience across the committee members.
Applications for this round of recruitment for the committee are now closed however the committee are still taking applications for volunteers.
