Who is eligible for membership?

Eligibility for membership covers all organisations and people working in for or with the public sector in Victoria and includes:

  • Victorian Government departments and agencies

  • Local Government Authorities

  • Australian public sector departments, agencies and entities operating in Victoria

  • Universities

  • Businesses and not-for-profit organisations that deliver services to or on behalf of government

  • Individuals working in, or who have retired from government, the public sector, or the community, academic or private sectors

  • Students.

How can I tell if my organisation has a corporate membership?

All corporate members of IPAA Victoria are listed on the page Our Corporate Members. If you cannot find your organisation listed but believe they do hold a corporate membership please contact our membership team.

As an employee of a corporate member, how do I access the benefits associated with corporate membership?

There are two ways of accessing benefits of your employers corporate membership.

> Registering for a course or event

To access the corporate member discount for activities or the complementary price for an event (when applicable), simply register for the activity and when prompted, select your organisation from the drop down menu. The appropriate price will be applied.

> Fill out the registration form

You can register as an employee of a corporate member by filling out this form. Additionally, this form allows you to join any of the communities of practice, and receive emails regarding up coming events.
