Strategic communications and engagement can achieve real and measurable outcomes and is essential to delivering meaningful change across government policies, programs and projects. This award recognises excellence in communication and engagement, both internal and external, that delivers innovative and creative campaigns that drive public value for the communities they serve.

Criteria

All nominations will be judged against each of the specified criteria. Clear evidence (qualitative and/or quantitative) is required against each criterion for the judging panel to determine a score.

  • An innovative, new or unique approach to communication
  • Partnership(s) and collaboration to achieve better connections and community outcomes with evidence of positive change
  • Effective and innovative use of digital approaches
  • Purposeful engagement with a community focus that has created positive connections and public value
  • High quality relative to the organisation size and its core business
  • Evidence of commitment to diversity and inclusion at all levels.
