The annual IPAA Victoria International Women's Day Gala Dinner will be held 7 March at the Palladium at Crown. The dinner is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate, support, network and inspire women across the public purpose sector. Over a thousand people are expected to come together, on the eve of this significant day to celebrate women.

Our past events have included informative panel discussions with such identities as Christine Nixon APM, Dr Helen Szoke, Jean Kittson, Emeritus Professor Gillian Triggs, Annabel Crabb and Victorian Governor the Hon. Linda Dessau AO.


With a nod to the international theme for IWD 2019 - Balance for Better - our mix of panelists that will inspire, challenge and delight you during the hosted discussion are:

Fiona de Jong
Fiona is an astute global thinker able to engage with corporate and government partners. Currently entrusted with leadership of the revitalisation of Australia's Nation brand at Austrade, she was previously Chief Executive Officer and Secretary General of the Australian Olympic Committee. 

Libby Gorr
Libbi is one of Australia's finest live hosts and broadcasters. Warm, witty and smart, she has an exceptional ability to entertain, inspire, challenge and motivate, bringing a unique blend of journalism and humorous observation to all her work.

George Negus AM
George is one of Australia's best known media professionals with a passion for international affairs which has given him a perspective typical of someone with his enormous global experience as a journalist and traveller.

Jennifer Hansen
Jennifer is best known to TV audiences as the former co-host of Channel Ten’s 5pm news. These days Jennifer works in radio where she reads the news and chats about all things Melbourne.
