The Institute is the professional association of the public sector. We offer professional development programs and events, administer awards, and provide high-level networking opportunities across government. Our mission is to enhance the capacity, integrity and reputation of the public sector.
The Institute connects public sector professionals across government to the people and ideas that matter. The Institute is an important source of intellectual capital providing members with opportunities to be informed and engage with ideas about government, public administration and leadership through:

Corporate Membership provides benefits for your entire organisation, and is available in four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, depending on the size and nature of your organisation. Our Corporate Members comprise a range of organisations across the whole of government, and their staff are recognised as Corporate Associates of the Institute and receive discounts and priority booking. Personal Membership provides benefits for the individual, and demonstrates a personal commitment to supporting the work of the Institute. Personal Members are identified by the post nominal MIPAA (Member of the Institute of Public Administration Australia) and is a prerequisite for Fellowship of the Institute. JOIN NOW or read more
Membership fees are tax deductible. Our membership year runs from 1 July – 30 June. You can join at anytime.
