Sir George Murray Essay Award
Each year the National Council conducts a national essay competition known as the Sir George Murray Award Competition. The South Australian Division organises and conducts the competition on behalf of the National Council.The competition aims to promote creative thinking, analytical writing and debate on issues in Australian public administration.
Essays must be original, unpublished and based on the author's personal research or investigation. Essays of 3,000 to 10,000 words may be submitted.
The Sir George Murray award is valued at $1,000 plus a free registration to attend the IPAA National Conference where the award will be presented.
