Strategic Plan
Public administration, like the Australian society it serves, is always changing, addressing new community needs and expectations, exploiting advances in technology, systems and work practices to deliver better and more efficient services and responding to changing political priorities and changing processes for debating and resolving public policies.
IPAA Victoria needs to do more than just respond to these changes. As the professional association of those involved in public administration, we should contribute to the development of public policies and management practices that will enhance the performance of the public sector. In our own style and approach, we must also continuously develop if we are to be influential and relevant.
The Institute’s members work in an increasingly complex world, with demands for greater efficiency, accountability and innovation. We are confident that we can provide the support our members need to meet those demands that stem from our engagement with IPAA’s Corporate and Personal members, IPAA Fellows and our other key stakeholders. Their involvement is integral to our successes and to the creation of our strategic plan, which will guide the next stage of the Institute’s development.
